Gender equality is an issue of international, economic, and social importance — and women cannot advocate for it without the support of men, who in many cases hold the power and influence to help advance this work. It starts with male leaders who are willing to step up, work together, listen, learn, and lead with action.
We are excited to welcome you back in person on Wednesday, May 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., as we recognize our 2022 Advocate Award Winners. You will also hear keynote speaker W. Brad Johnson, educator, researcher, author of How and Why Men Should Mentor Women, discuss his research and moderate a panel of executives who will share their mentoring tips and experiences.
Let’s celebrate our 2022 Advocate Award Winners:
POWER is committed to engaging both men and women to achieve our vision of a no-limits workplace. Male engagement is critical to systemic advancement of women. Men still comprise 80% of senior leadership in most companies, which means they have the power to be 80% of the solution. Be part of an opportunity to learn how these honorees have inspired others to take notice of their leadership and the positive impact that gender diversity has in their organizations.
When we come together, powerful things can happen.
We will also hear from our dynamic Executive Panel, during which we will dive deep into what mentoring does and can do to foster equality in the workplace.
