INTERESTED IN BECOMING
OR

This year, I had the privilege of being a mentee in the Empower-U Mentoring Circle. This program, by far has been the best developmental experience I have participated in throughout my career. Being able to discuss issues with a group of diverse, like-minded women, has really allowed me to grow and understand ways to “think differently”. Through the group, I learned more about myself and identified core competencies necessary to become the leader I aspire to be. POWER’s networking events are fun and relaxed and the mentoring circle provides participants with the opportunity to make lifelong friendships with other mentee’s. The guidance and wisdom shared by the mentors and facilitators was invaluable. POWER workshops were FANTASTIC—they provided insight and ideas to help leaders build resilience while motivating others to get involved. I enjoyed learning by hearing other leaders share their journey and key experiences. These stories allowed me to reflect on my own career and begin to visualize a growth plan with key milestones to ensure my path is clearly defined. Thanks to the Empower-U Mentoring experience I feel more confident in my ability to advocate for myself. I am honored to be a member and look forward to continue learning and working with the organization by helping other leaders uncover their greatness.
