A Career Conversation with Donna Allie, founder of Team Clean

POWER of Professional Women, in partnership with Comcast, is pleased to announce the next event in our lunchtime development series, Career Conversations. In this series, women in senior leadership positions will be interviewed by emerging leaders and discuss their career insights, leadership journeys, and advice for emerging leaders. This event is a great way to take an entertaining and rewarding break from your day.

Please join us on Thursday, March 16th at 12:15pm ET for our Career Conversation with Donna Allie, founder of Team Clean. Be inspired by the woman who has grown Team Clean to a highly reputable, multi-million dollar Philadelphia institution that has cleaned for a vast amount of locations including the National Constitution Center, the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the Kimmel Center and the home of the Philadelphia Phillies: Citizens Bank Park. Ms. Allie will share her leadership journey and experiences and what she might tell her younger self. Donna will be interviewed by Chelsea Fiegel, Regional Service Manager in North America for Fluke Reliability.

Donna Allie’s Bio:

In the mid-1980s, Donna L. Allie launched Team Clean as a means to make ends meet post-graduation from Wilberforce University. She quickly realized that she had a love for the industry and a talent for business after her first commercial contract in 1985 with the Upper Main Line YMCA sparked a fire. Over the past 40+ years, she has grown the company to a highly reputable, multi-million dollar Philadelphia institution that has cleaned for a vast amount of locations including the National Constitution Center, the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the Kimmel Center and the home of the Philadelphia Phillies: Citizens Bank Park. Ms. Allie has won countless awards over the years for both her work with Team Clean and her dedication to the community. The District Minority Small Business Person of the Year, the Harriet Tubman Trailblazer Award, the National Freedom Day Community Service Award, the City of Philadelphia’s Supply, Service and Equipment Award, the Main Line Martin Luther King Jr. Association’s Business Leadership Award, and the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Women of Distinction Award are just a few of the prestigious honors that have been bestowed upon her. Team Clean continues to grow each year thanks to her knowledge, dedication, and investment in her employees.

Chelsea’s Bio:

Chelsea Fiegel is a Regional Service Manager in North America for Fluke Reliability. She has 7 years of experience in reliability centered maintenance and currently leads a team of 17 people focusing on field service delivery, technical support, and repair and calibration. She is dedicated to delivering results and driving a culture of positive change within the organization. Chelsea enjoys collaborating with people (especially when problem solving), sharing experiences with others through mentoring, and inspiring others to grow themselves personally and professionally. She is the President of Fluke’s Employee Friend and Resource Group (EFRG) Fluke Accelerate that takes a stance to accelerate employees’ career progression within the company by focusing on networking, leadership, and process improvement. She is also a chair member for POWER’s own Emerging Leaders Committee where she excitedly joined after participating in one of POWER’s group mentoring cohorts. In her free time, she finds herself among the great outdoors while she lives fulltime in an RV exploring the US National and State Parks– currently somewhere in the middle of a desert outside of Tucson, AZ.
